Since 2005 LuckyMe has undergone art direction and graphic design work for select fashion and record labels. This section is dedicated to letting you see the associated fine art, print, web, photography, fashion and video design of LuckyMe and our galaxy of friends. We only have a taste of our work here. Should you need to see more from any of these artists, email us and we will extradite. Our next collective commission is for Susology Magazine's Create feature. The work will be a sculpture with associated remixes for free download online. It will be documented in issue 2 of Susology, alongside an online documentary. The magazine is still in print but we will share it with you soon enough. |

Dominic Flannigan aka Dom Sum graphic design, fashion, illustration, ambient - These sleeves were an attempt to reference the original Beat Music - West African tribal rhythmn - which in turn moved to America with the slave trade. The notion of 'the one' surfaced in blues, then honky tonk, Jazz, Big Band, Rock n Roll, Bee Bop and slowly but surely worked it's way into Hip Hop and Dance musics. The use of three sizes of halftone screens on the sleeves is a metaphor for how we listen to this music. Maybe the first time you hear these tracks you tune in to the hat line, then the bass, then the snare - phasing your attention into the component parts of the song. This is like seeing the same picture at different spaces and distances. Seeing these sleeves at varied distance brings varied details of the photography into focus.
